Returns & Refund Policy

Returns

Unopened goods in their original, undamaged packaging may be returned within 10 days of delivery for a full refund less the original shipping cost. The product must be fit for resale: packaging, manuals, fittings and accessories all included.

Opened items that are still complete and resaleable carry a restocking fee of up to 25%. If components or original packaging are missing, replacement cost is deducted from the refund.

Cannot be returned once used or made to order

  • Fireplaces and braais that have been installed or fired.
  • Fencing that has been cut, fitted or installed.
  • Made-to-order items and opened bags or pallets of bricks, brick tiles or thin brick.

Pack returns securely with protective material and label clearly with your order number. Zigmir Trading is not liable for damage in transit on returns — insured courier is recommended.

Orders cancelled before dispatch are refunded in full, including any delivery fee. All payments are treated as refundable deposits until the goods leave our premises.

Refunds

Approved refunds are processed within 30 days of the returned goods being received and inspected. Refunds go back to the original payment method. Bank EFT refunds may take an additional 1 – 3 business days to reflect.

A 10% service fee applies if you request a refund without having read the shipping or collection terms for items clearly marked “collection only” or “quoted on freight” on the product page.

Replacements & warranty

Every product carries the manufacturer’s original warranty — a minimum of 6 months from order date. Fireplaces, braais and fencing often carry longer manufacturer warranties as published by the manufacturer. Note that bricks, brick tiles, thin brick and other made-to-order items are sold as building materials and natural variation in colour and texture is not a defect.

For a faulty item, email info@zigmirtrading.co.za with your order number, photos and a short description. Within 30 days of delivery we arrange courier collection at no cost. Outside the 30-day window, we reimburse the return courier cost on items confirmed to be defective under warranty.

Damaged on arrival

Inspect every parcel on delivery. If a parcel is visibly damaged, note it on the courier waybill before signing and email photos to info@zigmirtrading.co.za within 24 hours. We handle the courier dispute and arrange a replacement or refund.

How to start a return

  1. Email info@zigmirtrading.co.za with your order number, the item, the reason and photos where relevant.
  2. We reply within one business day with a Return Authorisation (RA) number and packing instructions.
  3. Pack and label the return with the RA number visible. Drop it with our nominated courier or your own insured courier.
  4. On receipt and inspection, we issue the refund or replacement within the windows above.
